Bait and switch
Item advertised as Broan-NuTone CT157B Extra Wide Hardwood Floor Tool. Item sent was generic junk knock off copy. Initial shipping took 14 days only to receive incorrect item. Return and refund processing took 21 days. Refund was only partial. I paid the advertised price for a NuTone tool, received generic junk tool, and did not get a full refund. Beware of this vendor!!!

Exactly as described
I received the item as described and it is exactly the item I wanted and expected. I worried based on prior feedback here, and the trick seems to be to order the more expensive variant from Home Controls rather than from the other outfit.
The item I received arrived well packaged and fits my NuTone vacuum extensions perfectly.
Received NuTone tool as expected
The hardwood floor tool I received was the original manufacturer's (NuTone's) item and works just fine. In fact, it is actually better than the one that I had which came with the NuTone central vac because this one locks into place. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it could have been less expensive.
